Indoors Navigation has implemented a smart navigation project for the Central Bus Station of Rostov-on-Don. Passengers can now easily navigate the territory and the station building thanks to the modern digital navigation system.

We have placed 400 BLE sensors in the space of the bus station, which ensure smooth and accurate navigation. Every visitor can use the mobile application - it works like a familiar navigator, and not only for indoor use. It is enough to enter the flight number or select the desired point of interest - a cafe, a luggage room or a toilet - and the system will plot the optimal route.

Decision

How to make a large bus station convenient and understandable for every visitor? The special feature of the solution is several convenient navigation methods. A three-dimensional map of the bus station is available both in the application and on the interactive touch terminals - infomats. If you can't install the app, QR code navigation helps: just scan the code with your phone's camera, and a map with your location opens in the browser. And for fans of modern technology, there is an augmented reality mode - it switches with one touch and you will see the route signs directly through the smartphone camera.

Implementation results

This solution greatly simplifies the lives of passengers - they no longer need to spend time searching or seeking help from staff. And for the bus station, the system has become a tool for improving the quality of service and unloading employees. Modern technologies make transportation hubs more convenient and comfortable for everyone.
