The principle of operation of a Smart barrier:
Vehicle detection — when the car approaches the barrier, the system activates the camera, including infrared illumination at night. The speed of the car should not exceed 30 km/h.
License plate reading is a special INP software, the Smart Barrier module, analyzes the image from the camera, highlights the license plate and converts it to digital format with an accuracy of 98%.
Checking in the database — the system checks the recognized number against the database
authorized vehicles, which includes:
- Permanent passes (for residents/employees)
- Temporary passes (for guests/clients)
- One-time passes (for delivery services)
Decision—making depends on the results of the audit:
If there is a match, the barrier opens automatically.
If there is no number in the database, the waiting mode for confirmation from the operator is activated.
Use apps instead of the remote
The smart barrier automatically detects the approach of the user with the mobile application, sends him a notification that the barrier can be opened or opens it, depending on the settings.
